Happy Mining!

Here’s some pics from my visit at Aion Headquarters and the Futurist Blockchain Conference held in Toronto on August 15th-16th:

It is never recommended to mine directly to any exchange (technically, the funds do not belong to you without a private key). Since there is no Windows wallet yet (coming soon), below are different ways to set up Ubuntu and install the Ubuntu desktop wallet:

How to use a Virtual Box and install Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

The following link shows you how to install a Virtual Box using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS:
Virtual Box setup and install using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Once you have that done, you need to install the Aion kernel using the following link:
Aion Kernel v.03
Once you have the Aion kernel downloaded and extracted, navigate into the “aion” folder and open a terminal window by right-clicking an empty spot and choose “open in terminal”. Then simply run the following command to start the kernel GUI:
./aion_gui.sh
When the GUI opens, choose “Accounts” then “Add Account” and you will see the option to create your wallet.

How to use Hyper-V and install Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (this will work with Windows 10)

The following link shows you how to configure Hyper-V and install Linux (use the Ubuntu 16.04 ISO link):
Hyper-V configuration and install of Linux
Once you have that done, use the same steps above to install the kernel and create an address.

**Note -to be able to use the wallet, you will need to launch the kernel and have it fully sync with the blockchain. The initial sync will take many hours but you can start mining with your new address. If you require any assistance, feel free to jump into AionPool.tech’s discord channel, the link is on our website at www.aionpool.tech

Aion has announced a new exchange supporting the Aion native coin! Along with Bilaxy.com, you can now use Latoken.com

Hi everyone!

Just an update on what’s going on with our pool…

We will soon have a server up and running in Europe, in Germany to be more precise.

Also, we are in the process of finishing up our new UI (website).

Both these additions will be live soon, stay tuned!

The pool is legit. Been on now for 72 hours, no interruptions, steady payout. Lets spread the hashrate around a bit.

This pool is awesome, smooth dashboard and steady connection. I had some issues my address, Yashnik was super helpful. Been mining for 30 hours and my payouts have been higher than the mining calculator estimated, so I am happy. Good job guys.

AionPool.tech was glad to have attended #EngageAion event yesterday in Toronto. It was truly informative and insightful. Very exciting to see the many things to come! Thank you! Shout out to Centrys, met Amanda Marie (Chief Mar-Tech Officer at Centrys Inc.) Centrys has always worked closely with the Aion Network and will continue to do so bringing in dApps #poweredbyAion . 2 month uptime?

Alright ill pool my rigs to you guys.

Side Note: (my opinion) i just think the dash has too much going on. animation-wise. Looks great and everything, but I wouldn’t be against toning it down :D. Eh im just a minimalist shrug

spez: EWBF released 0.6 btw, also might want to add lolminer for AMDs cards to the guide.

Thanks for the heads up, will do!

Welcome aboard! Would be great if you can join our discord and telegram channels

I’ve been using the pool for a few weeks. Concerned with the worker status… seems some of my rigs are not showing up in the worker stats however I am able to confirm via local dashboards the rigs are connected and hashing.

There also seems to be a discrepancy between the dashboard hash rate and the miner hashrate on the top hashers page.

I am currently working on a GUI for consolidating rig status into one dashboard. This should help clarify my hashrates and notify me if a rig goes down.

@Yashnik are you aware of any issues with the stats reporting?

Thank you for posting and hope that I addressed your concerns via telegram chat.

Welcome aboard!

Check out the latest video from CryptoCrow who mentions our pool  (he’s a little new to the mining aspect of Aion obviously but really nice of him either way)

It’s time for a fun little giveaway to reward our loyal miners. The prize is a pair of Aion stickers to the winner of a random draw that will take place on Friday, October 19th at 12pm EST.

All you have to do is simply be an active miner in our pool. We will enter all addresses mining at that time into the drawing. The winning address will be posted on our Discord and Telegram channels and will have 72 hours to claim the prize by PM either myself or ICYu2.

Discord https://discordapp.com/invite/KsqAF3h
Telegram https://t.me/joinchat/GxSt5xEywk3fkWGtFa3kbA

It’s a small prize but we do not make money running this pool. At some point, if all goes well in the future, we will explore other opportunities for giveaways

We thank you again for your continued support! :pick: :pick: :pick: :rocket: :rocket: :rocket: :100:

Thank you,

MAINTENANCE/UPGRADE DOWNTIME NOTICE

We are moving ahead with our planned upgrade tomorrow morning at 10am EST (4pm Amsterdam time) .
At tis time, we will be shutting down the pool for about an hour (should only be 15-20 minutes but leaving time for the unexpected).
Once we are back online, I will let you all know.

This is a needed downtime to complete our planned upgrade to have multiple stratum servers working together in multiple regions globally. We are also implementing other safeguards.

This is a very exciting time for us as this will solidify our pool infrastructure and give miners across the globe faster connections to mine using our servers strategically placed in different regions while maintaining all hashrate from all miners connected to any server
